Snowboarding is not about who is better, who does what trick or what boots you are rocking. Snowboarding is about doing it.
Some of us will ride in horrible conditions, some will ride the most amazing powder and the biggest mountains in the world. One thing is that we all do it happily, we don't let a broken strap ruin our day, or the wrong wax send us home for the entire week.
Money, work or school doesn't matter while you are out there making your turns, this whole thing is about wanting it and about who wants it more.
Remind those around you that as we become citizens of the world we get caught up in hurry ,stress,schedules and expectations. We loose touch with the deeper meaning of life, let your dreams work their magic, tap into what's really yours and go make some turns this winter.
Don't ever give up, don't get over it, just simply strive to be a better rider.
