Snowboarding
Gear
I ride everyday, over 100 days a season. Good snowboarding gear makes a difference, not only in your riding but good quality products that will last are a plus.
There's nothing worst than spending $250 for a pair of boots and having to take them back to the shop after you rode them for 30 days because they get full of water. You will have to send them back and blah blah. A pain in the butt. Bindings... they will fall apart, some straps break with cold temps. We have been through it all!
I remember I had to carry a shoelace in my pocket 'cause my bindings kept breaking one season. Or having to wear plastic bags inside my boots 'cause they leaked so bad. Now I know and I stay away from products that don't last.
We have been researching for this seasons' newest snowboard gear and have found some cool things from a few good companies. Click on the links below if you want to check out the snowboard reviews.
Snowboard Review
If you buy snowboard gear online you should always read a snowboard review first. Snowboard reviews can give you that extra bit of info that a product description can't.
Buying snowboard gear online and ending up hating your purchase sucks. It leaves you feeling almost like a fool. I know because I did it once. I bought the best snowboard gear, or so I thought, but didn't read a snowboard review first. I wanted a twin tip snowboard but ended up getting a directional instead, maybe be if they were invented back then I would have ended up with a rocker snowboard
Needless to say I was disappointed with myself for not reading a snowboard review and getting the full details before I bought the snowboard. As it turns out though, the board ended up becoming a good powder board.
Buying Snowboard Gear Online
I remember back in the day buying snowboard gear was reserved for local shops only.
The online snowboarding stores just didn't have enough selection. Today things are different. If you want to find the best snowboarding gear or the cheapest snowboarding gear you go to the online snowboard store first.
Instant gratification right? For the most part if you find a snowboard that you really like at a snowboard shop chances are you can buy the snowboard online for cheaper.
The online stores buy in much more bulk than most shops and therefore can offer cheaper snowboarding gear. The only downside is that you can't actually hold and touch the snowboarding gear first. But if you read a snowboarding buying guide and a snowboard review you will be able to buy snowboarding gear online with no problems at all.
