Acupressure
Practicing snowboarding health acupressure is an amazing way to stay in top shape. If you pay attention to your body you can prevent most illnesses from happening with acupressure. Giving yourself daily or weekly treatments will warn you of upcoming problems.
We use acupressure to help keep our snowboarding at its highest level. I seem to hurt my shoulder at-least once a season and with acupressure and acupuncture treatments I heal in 1 or 2 days. Without the treatments it can take at least a week to heal.
I personally prefer to apply acupressure treatments to the foot, but you can also apply treatments to the hand. We have included both a hand and foot acupuncture chart.
Giving a acupressure treatment is really easy to do. If your shoulder hurts or your neck hurts than look it up on the chart and rub that area for 3-5 minutes. When rubbing you want to apply as much force as you can take. You can use your thumb, knuckle, index finger, an eraser on the end of a pencil...be creative acupressure doesn't have to be complicated. But for those interested I have put together a list of all my favorite acupressure books. Some are old some new, but either way I have learned so much from these books. The knowledge in these books can take your ability to heal with acupressure to new levels click here for the list.
