Snowboarding Whiplash

Snowboarding Whiplash is the worst. Your whole neck is so sore you can't do anything but stay in one position all day long. You definitely can't go riding, which is bad.

Exercising and developing a strong neck and back as well as neck stretches will help give you a better chance at preventing a pain full whiplash. Help prevent snowboarding whiplash by checking out Snowboarding Training for tips on how to strengthen your neck and back. Click here.

Another good tip is to wear a helmet. So many people want to go riding with just a beanie and some head phones, but doing this is very dangerous. Even if you are an amazing rider, you can still be run over by someone else. My friend, who wears the Bad Lieutenant helmet which is made by Giro, was practicing on some butter's when she took a huge spill.

Her neck totally was getting whipped around, but since the Bad Lieutenant has this extra rim around it that sticks out like another inch she got up and road away with no pain. She told me that her neck didn't bother her at all later on and that if she wasn't wearing her helmet, she would have gotten some serious whiplash, not to mention a concussion. Also if you unfortunately do wipeout, hurting your neck or any part of your body, please check out our Snowboarding Health link for information about herbs and vitamins. They should help you recover better. Click here for more information about Snowboading Health.
