Snowboarding Wrist Injury

A snowboarding wrist injury happens when we instinctively put our hands out to break a fall. This is a BIG NO!! this is how you sprain or break your wrist. The best thing to do is keep your hands in and take the fall on the side of your arm. Your arm, which is surround by strong muscles is much better at taking a hard impact than your tiny little wrist.

If you feel like you want some extra protection they make snowboard gloves with wrist protectors built into them. They are really good and they will absorb the impact of the fall instead of your wrist.

I totally recommend
you wearing these if you are a beginner who is just learning. Don't ruin your vacation and wind up hating snowboarding because you got hurt. Always stay protected.
