Snowboard Lesson 3, Week 2, Building Confidence On A SnowboardYou are linking turns by now, snowboarding feels good to you, you feel familiar with being on the chair, getting off and going for a ride. Start practicing on your speed now, get going a little bit faster, stay in control, if you feel out of control stop and start all over again. Green runs will be good for this. Ride greens for two days and move to blues, don’t go out of control, just cause you are on a blue does not mean you have to fly. We are just looking for a more mentally challenging terrain. Fine tune your turns, go faster, make sharper turns. Ride a blue run and feel good about it, you have the confidence now, just do it, try not to stop, don’t go super fast but try to make it down with out stopping too much. |
