Snowboard Travel

Snowboard travel is one of the key essentials to becoming a better snowboarder.

CLICK HERE TO PLAN A GREAT SNOWBOARD TRIP

The first time I went on a snowboard trip I was super excited. I was going to Vail, Co and I remember wanting to see the mountains as we drove in, but we drove in at night, so that was a bummer. However, I remember the next morning I woke up and saw the purest blue sky I have ever seen. The mountains were big and beautiful, and the best thing was they were covered in snow.

My first snowboard trip gave my passion for riding a huge boost. I was so stoked on Vail I ended up living there for the next 4 winters.

Snowboard travel will help make your snowboarding better. One of the worst things about riding the same runs over and over, like at your local mountain, is that you get so use to doing the same tricks in the same spots and you start to lose the spontaneity that breeds progression.

Keeping things fresh by traveling to a new mountain will help keep you creatively strong. Seeing new terrain will open your eyes to new possibilities and then after you are done with your trip you will probably go back to your local mountain and see something different. It's pretty cool.

Another good reason snowboard travel is cool is you get to meet new people who share the same passion for snowboarding as you. Meeting new people is cool just because... but it is also good for your riding too.

It gives you the chance to check out other styles and tricks. Like take Vail for example, doing Butters is super popular, and if you never had seen a butter before and you took a trip to Vail, you would then have a new trick to practice on at your local mountain.
