Everyone can do some level of tricks now a days, so doing it with style is that much more important. Here are 3 tips on how to improve your snowboarding style.
Bend Your Knees
Always keep your knees bent. It can be dangerous if your legs are straight because you lose your center of gravity. Snowboarding with your legs straight makes you look like you don't know what you are doing. So remember to always bend your knees, just don't do the poo stance.
Going With The Flow
The best way to go with the flow is to not force anything. If it takes jerking your whole body around just to do a 360 then you are forcing it. A lot of people think they are really good even though they look like they're about to wipeout. Riding smooth and always staying in control will improve your style.
Visualize
Visualizing yourself is the best way to improve your style. Using your minds eye, see yourself riding with amazing style. If you are having trouble doing this watch some video footage of your favorite snowboarder. Try and think what you need to do with your body to ride like him or her.
