The wrist is the #1 site for injury among snowboarders. Most times it is our unfortunate instinct to break a fall with our hands that cause these injuries. A wrist injury can take months to heal. A Colorado Snowboard Injury Survey stated that a snowboarder is half as likely to injure their wrist if their wearing pads.
You have two choices for wearing wrist pads. Some snowboard gloves come with their own wrist pads built into them. A better choice would be to buy separate wrist pads so that you can use them on any snowboard glove or mitten.
