Sore Muscles?

Having sore muscles is not fun. Feels like you can't even move anymore. Just walking to the bathroom seem like a huge task. Fortunately you are now going to know what can be done to heal quickly so you can get back to doing what you love... Snowboarding!!!! The tips found here are the best all natural healing for muscles and a great way to keep your snowboarding health in top shape.

Heating Pad

It is a good idea to apply heat to your muscles. This helps relax the muscle and bring it back to normal. The best way to apply heat is with those microwavable bags. They are easy to travel with and only take a few seconds to heat up. An electrical heating pad works good also.

Warning: DO NOT USE HEAT ON ANY SPRAIN, INFLAMMATION, BRUISES, CUTS OR ANYTHING OTHER THAN MUSCLE ACHES. DOING SO WILL ONLY MAKE THINGS WORST.

Recommended Herbs

Arnica

Traumeel

Rhus Tox

Wintergreen

Get a Massage

Getting a massage is a good way to over come sore muscles. Having a professional do it is the best way but even a friend or yourself will do. We recommend that you use either the herbs, listed above, or you can try this mixture of oils which will help energize & strengthen your muscles:
4 drops of Rosemary Oil, 2 drops of lemon grass, & 4 drops of ginger. Massage evenly over your muscles.

Increase Your Protein Intake

Protein makes up about 15-20% of your body, half of which is found in your muscles and bones. To help over come sore muscles it's recommend to eat more protein.
For the highest protein content try eating Beans, Lentils, & Peas. Other good sources of protein are nuts, seeds, grains. Vegetables also have good amounts of protein such as artichoke, broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, rice, & spinach to name a few.

Recommended Vitamins

It is always recommended to take your vitamins. Buying vitamins from your local health food store or from an online store is a great addition to the vitamins you get from the foods you eat. Most vitamins are lost from the foods we eat because some are dissolved in water, others destroyed by heat and some are affected by light and oxygen.

So please be sure to take your vitamins faithfully to help your body function at its best. click here for more information about vitamins

You can use it as a salad dressing or in sauces or sweeten it with honey and take as a refreshing drink.
