Tools Needed for Summerize Your Snowboard: Iron, Wax
Getting your snowboard ready for summer is very key in how long your board will last and how good it will be for the next season.
The best way to do this is to use universal wax or spring wax. You want to follow the same procedure for hot waxing your board as found in thesnowboard waxing section and cover the entire board with wax. But DON'T remove the wax until next winter.
Once the wax has cooled down put the board in a bag and store it in a dry cool place. This will prevent the wood core of your board from drying out over the summer. When winter comes, scrape off the wax and you are ready to go riding.
