Wide Snowboards

Wide snowboards are often used by riders with big feet. Since their feet are longer than the width of a regular snowboard, their toes or heels will stick further out than the edges of the snowboard. This is called toe drag or heel drag and can easily cause wipe outs. If you are having issues with toe or heel drag click here and learn how to fix it.

Wide snowboards are great for doing tricks and for hitting rails. Since they are wider they offer more stability, but are therefore slightly slower on the edge to edge transfer. But still they are great boards. Below is a list of some of the best wide snowboards available.

I wear a size 13 boot and love riding around on my Ride Dose Wide Snowboard, it is a freestyle twin-tip board for the big foot rider who wants a board that is wide enough so that there isn't any toe/heel drag, but still very jibby.
